Zara B’far, a freshman at Vanderbilt University, is an accomplished cellist known for her expressive musicality and dynamic leadership. A longtime participant in Junior Chamber Music, she has served as both a performer and student coach, mentoring young ensembles and even founding a cello program at Lyceum Village. Zara has won numerous accolades including first prizes in the MTAC VOCE State Competitions and the JCM Chamber Music Competition, and has performed internationally in Germany, Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. She will join the 2025 JCM Honors Tour to Korea and Japan as part of her continuing dedication to chamber music excellence.

Anna B’far is an accomplished young pianist and dedicated chamber musician who has been a member of Junior Chamber Music for eight years. She has studied with Dr. Valentina Gottlieb, Dr. ChunYi Wang, and Dr. Svetlana Smolina and has performed internationally in Germany and Italy. A varsity basketball player at Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills, Anna balances her musical pursuits with a love of drawing and reading. She will join the 2025 JCM Honors Tour to Korea and Japan, continuing her deep commitment to collaborative music-making on a global stage
